Nashville, TN (October 22, 2021)– The 52nd Annual GMA Dove Awards were handed out Tuesday night, October 19th, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee. The show, under the banner Stronger Together, aired tonight exclusively on TBN and was simulcast on SiriusXM The Message.CeCe Winans andJason Ingram led the night with the 4 awards each with Winans winning Gospel Artist of the Year and Ingram winning Songwriter of the Year (Non-Artist).for KING & COUNTRY took home three awards including Artist of the Year, the top honor of the night.Chris Brown of Elevation Worship andSteven Furtick also each won three awards including Song of the Year for "The Blessing." After 2020's virtual show, the music community reunited this year with stellar live performances which included a moving ballad fromLauren Daigle, a chill-inducing moment from Co-HostNatalie Grant, and a powerful closing rendition of Worship Recorded Song of the Year, "Graves Into Gardens" byElevation Worship. Other stand-outs included the five New Artist of the Year nominees, each bringing energetic performances bursting with joy and hope. One-of-kind collaborations also lit up the stage includingKB withMatt Redman,Jonathan McReynolds withMali Music and Dante Bowe withKelontae Gavin.

One of the night's highlights was Chairman of the GMA Board, Roy Morgan, presentingJackie Patillo with the first-time Dove Award for Distinguished Leadership. Morgan also announced the new Dove will be an annual award and, beginning next year, will be named TheJackie Patillo Leadership Award. Patillo was surprised and elated to be presented with this special award. "I am speechless. And so honored and so grateful. This is a calling y'all. This is a mission. This is not a job. Even though some days are hard. But, I love you. And I'm grateful. And I believe in unity in Christ. I believe we can celebrate our diversity in ways that will show the world that they'll know we are Christians by our love. I believe in the power of God through the Word and through the message in your songs. So thank you. I'm so grateful and I'm awestruck over this."

Nashville, TN (September 15, 2021) – The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced Dove Award-winning ArtistsNatalie Grant andJonathan McReynolds will co-host this year's GMA Dove Awards. Also revealed today were the first slate of nominated performers including:Lauren Daigle,Elevation Worship,KB,CeCe Winans andZach Williams. The 52nd GMA Dove Awards are set to air exclusively onTBN, Friday, October 22nd, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. ET and again at 10:00 p.m. ET. This will be Jonathan McReynolds's first time hosting as he joins Natalie Grant, who first hosted in 2010. Both artists are current nominees and will be performing live on the show. Nashville, Tenn. (August 11, 2021) – The Gospel Music Association is pleased to announce nominees for the 52nd Annual GMA Dove Awards. Top nominations include Steven Furtick with ten (10) nominations, Chris Brown with nine (9), Wayne Haun with eight (8), seven (7) nominations each for Elevation Worship and Brandon Lake, six (6) to for KING & COUNTRY and five (5) nods to CeCe Winans, Ed Cash, Tiffany Hammer (Hudson) and Zach Williams. Voted on by the GMA Professional Membership, this year's nominees were chosen from over 4,600 submitted entries and include a wide range of creativity and artistic integrity in both artist and non-artist categories.
Nominees were announced in a star-studded livestream event featuring Alex Campos, John Cooper, Bill & Gloria Gaither, Kari Jobe, Brian & Jenn Johnson, Jonathan McReynolds, Wande and Tauren Wells. The announcement premiered on the GMA Dove Awards YouTube and Facebook pages with clips on the Dove Awards Instagram and TikTok.
"We are thrilled to welcome back an in-person Dove Awards this year and equally excited about our impressive list of nominees," says GMA President Jackie Patillo. "As we continue to celebrate the immense creativity and diversity within our community, we're looking forward to an awards program this year's nominees deserve."
Voting for the final winners will run August 19th through August 26th. The GMA Dove Awards are happening live and in person in Nashville, TN, October 19th, 2021. NASHVILLE, Tenn (October 30, 2020) – The 51st Annual GMA Dove Award winners were announced tonight via worldwide broadcast, which aired exclusively on TBN. Under the banner of "Carry The Change", the show celebrated Gospel Music's diversity and promoted unity through dynamic performances and testimonials. The night's biggest awards went to for KING & COUNTRY for "Artist of the Year", We The Kingdom for "New Artist of the Year", Tasha Cobbs Leonard for "Gospel Artist of the Year" (presented by SoundExchange), and Joseph Habedank for "Southern Gospel Artist of the Year".
Re-imagined to accommodate the absence of a live audience, this year's Dove Awards featured numerous one-of-a-kind collaborations including a historic performance by "Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year" winner Tauren Wells featuring Christine D'Clario, Jenn Johnson and Jekalyn Carr. More special moments included heartfelt stories from fans about songs that have impacted their lives as well as insights from favorite artists like Zach Williams, Natalie Grant, and Jonathan McReynolds talking about this year's pandemic pause and the things they've experienced through it.
